WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
• Administering physical therapy interventions as planned and directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Instructing and assisting residents/clients.
• Monitoring resident/client performance and physical status to ascertain effectiveness of program, communicating with Physical Therapist for any plan/goal modifications.
• Assisting in preparing clinical notes and progress reports.
• Providing education on treatments/equipment usage to residents/clients and their families.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
• Associate degree from a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• A valid FL license.
• A genuine interest in and compassion for older adults.
• Ability to demonstrate teamwork – be proactive, resourceful, and collaborative.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate between residents/clients and staff.
