About this role
As our Home Equity Loan Processor, you will:
• Provide outstanding, quality service to external and internal members
• Prepare documents related to TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) compliance, including loan estimates, closing disclosures and change in circumstances
• Prepare loan documentation for branch loan closings
• Ensure accuracy of all TRID and loan closing documents through quality control processes
• Obtain home owners insurance documentation from insurance companies prior to closings
• Monitor closing files for proper home owners insurance coverage
• Demonstrate a knowledge and familiarity with all TRID forms, regulations, requirements and associated timelines
• Order title policies, flood determinations and property evaluations
• Review title policies and flood determinations
• Review files to ensure all required conditions are met prior to closing
• Prepare outgoing wire instructions related to loan closings
• Communicate frequently with third parties such as title insurance, home owners insurance and appraisal companies
• Monitor and process emails received in the department-shared inbox
• Handle lender questions and requests regarding loans and documentation
• Monitor the digital signature dashboard for acknowledged disclosures
Our ideal candidate will have a combination of:
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent degree (GED, HSED)
• Minimum of one year of real estate lending experience is preferred
• Knowledge of home equity document preparation and/or lending is preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and web-based software packages
• Passion for providing outstanding service to our members – internal and external

Compliance Accountabilities:
The Home Equity Loan Processor must act in accordance with Community First Credit Union policies and procedures. Complete all required compliance training and continuing education within specified timeframe. Maintain a thorough knowledge of all internal operating procedures within the Consumer Lending Services Department, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
