What You'll Be Doing:

• Serve as Engineer of Record on structural design projects

• Provide expert guidance on structural systems, design standards, and code compliance

• Communicate directly with clients and serve as a technical liaison throughout all project phases

• Lead pre-design services: planning, programming, data gathering, conceptual design, and system selection

• Deliver complete structural construction documents: drawings, specifications, calculations, and cost estimates

• Author technical reports based on studies, structural analyses, and condition assessments

• Provide quality control and peer reviews of work prepared by other engineers

• Support construction phase services including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals/shop drawings, and site visits with reporting

• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of structural design

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical development across the structural group

What You Bring to the Team:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field

• Licensed PE or SE in Oklahoma (or ability to obtain licensure within 12 months of hire)

• 15+ years of progressive experience in structural engineering, including vertical building structures

• Deep knowledge of structural systems, analysis methods, and construction materials

• Proficient in structural design software and comfortable working in Revit (preferred)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Familiarity with both design/bid/build and design/build delivery methods

• Experience working with federal agencies and knowledge of applicable design codes and standards is a plus

• Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits and project coordination

• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple priorities

Essential Physical Functions:

• Sit/stand at a desk or computer

• Walk, stoop, stand and move around job sites

• Travel and occasional site visits requiring stooping, standing, and lifting up to 30 lbs.

• Frequent communication via phone, video, or in-person meetings

• Ability to focus on digital and paper-based information for extended periods

• Some project-based travel may be required
