Position Overview: The Meeting Grounds supervisor supports store operations during scheduled shifts, providing direct leadership to baristas and ensuring the delivery of excellent service, product quality, and operational efficiency. This role also supports training, team morale, and guest satisfaction while upholding Auro Hotels' values and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily shift operations including opening, closing, and cash management.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety guidelines.
• Ensure consistent execution of recipes, presentation, and service standards.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate concerns as needed.
• Lead a “customer-first” culture by setting the tone and modeling exceptional service.
• Greet and engage guests to ensure a warm, welcoming experience.
• Proactively address guest concerns and ensure satisfaction.
• Provide on-the-job coaching, training, and feedback to associates.
• Support onboarding of new team members and reinforce performance expectations.
• Foster a collaborative, respectful, and encouraging team environment.
• Recognize individual and team accomplishments regularly.
• Uphold all company policies and safety standards.
• Ensure cash handling, food safety, and security procedures are followed.
• Promote a culture of integrity, professionalism, and responsibility.
Qualifications:
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in retail or food & beverage setting.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
• ServeSafe certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to lift 40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
