About this role

Position Overview

Women’s Bean Project is on a mission to expand our reach and serve more women in the Denver community. As a Retail Sales Lead, you’ll play a key leadership role in our growth as we launch an exciting new retail popup at Denver International Airport.

This is much more than a sales position. It’s an opportunity to help lead and shape a new retail venture while representing a brand with a powerful purpose. We’re looking for a passionate, results-oriented retail professional who is excited about our gourmet food products and deeply connected to our mission of transforming lives through employment.

As the Retail Sales Lead, you’ll be a key representative of Women’s Bean Project at our airport kiosk. You’ll create memorable customer experiences, drive sales, support retail brand ambassadors, oversee scheduling, and ensure the kiosk is prepared to open and operate successfully each day. You’ll introduce travelers from around the world to our products and the women whose lives they help transform.

This is a 6 to 8-month contract position, with the potential for extension based on the success and continued operation of the retail venture.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the retail experience: Represent Women’s Bean Project with enthusiasm while modelling excellent customer service.

• Drive sales: Engage customers, recommend products, upsell and cross-sell, and help meet or exceed sales goals.

• Lead the team: Provide day-to-day direction and support to Retail Sales Ambassadors.

• Manage scheduling: Create and maintain schedules, coordinate coverage, and address staffing needs.

• Open the kiosk: Complete opening procedures and ensure the kiosk, POS, inventory, and merchandising are ready for business.

• Tell our story: Educate customers about our products and mission and help team members confidently share our story.

• Maintain the kiosk: Keep the space clean, organized, attractive, secure, and fully stocked.

• Collaborate: Partner with Women’s Bean Project leadership to launch, refine, and grow the retail venture.

Who You Are

You’re a confident, energetic retail leader who enjoys working with people and delivering results. You’re comfortable approaching customers, creating genuine connections, and working in a fast-paced airport environment. You’re organized, dependable, and able to take ownership of daily operations.

Most importantly, you believe every woman should have the opportunity and support to transform her life and are excited to share our products and a mission you believe in.

The Experience and Qualifications You’ll Need

• Experience in retail, sales, or customer service

• Previous leadership, supervisory, or shift lead experience preferred

• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals

• Experience with scheduling, shift coverage, or daily retail operations

• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills

• Ability to coach and support team members

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Computer skills and POS system proficiency

• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and obtain and maintain all credentials and security badges required to work at Denver International Airport
