Position Overview

We are looking for an HR Business Partner to support our operations in Sandton. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner / HR Director, this role acts as a key point of contact between HR and business stakeholders, ensuring people processes are implemented consistently and effectively.

This is a hands-on HRBP role, focused on employee relations, performance management, and day-to-day HR support, while also contributing to broader people initiatives. You will work closely with managers to support engagement, compliance, and talent outcomes within a dynamic BPO environment.

Key Responsibilities

Core HR Business Partnering

• Support business leaders by aligning HR practices with operational needs

• Act as a trusted HR point of contact for managers and employees

• Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices

Employee Relations & Performance

• Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially

• Support performance management processes, including coaching and corrective action

• Contribute to building a positive, inclusive, and compliant work environment

Talent & Workforce Support

• Support talent management activities, including onboarding, development, and retention

• Assist with change initiatives and people-related projects as the business evolves

• Develop a solid understanding of the business to better support workforce needs

HR Data & Continuous Improvement

• Use HR data and reporting to identify trends and support informed decision-making

• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience

Qualifications

Essential

• Completed secondary schooling

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, or Human Resources

• Minimum of 5 years’ HR experience, including at least 2 years in a Business Partner role

• Working knowledge of performance management, HR best practices, and labour legislation

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
