TEAM & CONTEXT. The team reports to Masrur Gharibmamadov.
The Job
The main purpose of your role
• Together with WASH engineers, Finance Officer, HHO and DDR officer identify and verify sites and beneficiaries of projects and interventions related to WASH.
• Develop monthly, quarterly and annual procurement plans and maintain the record up to date to avoid any audit challenges.
• In due consultation with Logistic Manager in Dushanbe develop inventory recording tags and make sure that all Mission East fix furniture or capital items have been tagged properly with right materials and fonts
As POSITION, your tasks will be to:
Main Task
• Assist in planning procurement actions; analyse procurement requests, identify service providers, evaluate information regarding vendors’ performance in respect to quality, prices and delivery of goods and services as it pertains to the organization’s best interests
• Solicit bids or quotations, analyse them for conformity with specified requirements, conduct appraisals and select suppliers, and confirm terms of payment
• Monitor maintenance and repair of office facilities, including but not limited to preventive maintenance. Establish maintenance agreements with competent service providers, when it is feasible and determined to be cost effective
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Process payment as per procedures

We expect you to have/are:

• Core skills
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
Fluency in English, Tajik and Russian
Ability to work with MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
