Job Summary
The Assembly Tech I position is a vital member of the JMS Operations Team and is responsible for assisting in the coordination and activities of all assembly processes.
Key Responsibilities Include
• Using drawings and job travelers
• Assemble JMS equipment to print in a timely manner, efficiently, and without error
• Successfully complete multiple objectives based on information received from Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor
• Use multi-meter to test equipment, fill out test reports, and file them accordingly
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment (lubrication and cleaning)
• Safely operate hand tools and cranes moving large equipment
• Assist Field Service at job sites
• Accurately read and use tape measure
• Organize maintenance logs, contacts, programs
Required Qualifications
• Experience in assembling components/mechanics (3 years + in manufacturing preferred)
• Experience in job-shop fabrication a plus
• Forklift certification
• Mechanically inclined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as logical thought process
Education
• High School Diploma/GED or higher required
