Position Summary
The Onsite Project Manager is responsible for supporting the successful execution of construction projects by coordinating field activities, promoting safety and quality, managing documentation, monitoring project progress, and assisting field leadership with day-to-day operations. This position serves as an extension of the Project Management and Construction teams, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist in planning and coordinating field activities to support project schedules and milestones.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, logistics personnel, and subcontractors.
• Support project startup planning and ongoing coordination efforts.
• Monitor project schedules and communicate potential issues or delays.
• Help establish, track, and achieve project milestones and short-term goals
• Support the Project Superintendent in managing daily field operations.
• Assist Foremen and field personnel in achieving production, quality, and schedule goals.
• Monitor project progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop recovery plans when project performance falls behind expectations.
• Promote collaboration across all trades and project stakeholders
• Serve as an extension of the company's Safety Team on assigned projects.
• Monitor jobsite safety compliance and promote a culture of safety.
• Participate in safety audits, inspections, and corrective action efforts.
• Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and assist in implementing corrective measures.
• Support compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
Required
• Strong understanding of commercial construction practices and project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
• Ability to work effectively in both office and field environments.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must be willing and able to travel as required to support project operations throughout the Southeast region
Preferred
• Experience in mechanical construction, HVAC, plumbing, piping, or sheet metal trades.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• First Aid/CPR/AED Certification.
• CAPM, PMP, or related project management training.
• Prior field leadership or project engineering experience.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor construction environments.
• Ability to walk active jobsites, climb ladders, navigate uneven terrain, and inspect work areas.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying weather and site conditions.
