About this role
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Assign sales workers to duties. Authorize payments by cheque. Order merchandise. Authorize return of merchandise. Establish work schedules. Sell merchandise. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Organize and maintain inventory. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers. Manage cash. Supervise office and volunteer staff. Supervision: 3-4 people. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Reliability. Team player. Ability to multitask. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment. Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
