Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Remote location. Rural area. Tasks: Decide on best techniques to maximize extracted honey production. Interac with bees based on your knowledge of their biology, behaviour, ecology and caste system. Work with honey bees. Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers. Supervision: 16-20 people. Apiary and honey harvesting experience: Apiary management. Detect bee diseases . Extract honey manually. Manage bee colonies for the production of honey and pollination purposes. . Treat bees with antibiotics . Queen bee production from grafting. Transportation/travel information: Drive manual transmission vehicle. Valid driver's licence.
