Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Hog and pig farming. Work setting: Rural area. Remote location. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses. Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Perform livestock feeding. Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration. Feed and tend animals. Carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Perform general farm duties. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is not available. Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Team player. Judgement. Reliability. Experience: No experience (will train).
