Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Work in employer's/client's home. Tasks: Administer bedside and personal care. Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk. Change non-sterile dressings. Launder clothing and household linens. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Provide companionship. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Experience: Experience an asset. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
