At University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (BWMC), part of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), we’re building a vascular care program grounded in collaboration, innovation, and excellence. As a Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant (PA), you’ll join a highly skilled and supportive clinical team with strong physician and peer collaboration, dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered vascular care. What You’ll Do You’ll work closely with vascular surgeons and the interdisciplinary care team to manage complex vascular patients across the continuum of care. Responsibilities include:
• Managing inpatient and outpatient vascular consults and follow-up care • Providing pre- and post-procedural patient assessments, care, and education • Collaborating closely with vascular surgeons, fellow PAs, and clinical staff in a highly supportive environment • Supporting care coordination and clinical decision-making for complex, high-acuity patients • Helping ensure continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient settings • Contributing to quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives
Schedule 0.6 FTE
• No call • No routine nights or weekends • In addition to working at BWMC, providers may rotate to outpatient office locations in Queenstown and Easton, with a new Annapolis location coming soon, to support patient access and continuity of care.

Required Qualifications
• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in Maryland, or eligibility for Maryland licensure • Current NCCPA certification • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program • Clinical experience in vascular surgery, surgery, interventional radiology, cardiology, or acute care strongly preferred • Ability to manage complex, high-acuity patients in a fast-paced clinical environment • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills • Comfortable working within a collaborative, physician-supported practice model
