We're looking for a CNC Mill Setup Operator who can transform engineering specifications into high-quality machined parts while serving as a technical leader on the shop floor.In this role, you'll be the critical link between programming and production, ensuring CNC milling machines are set up correctly, efficiently, and safely to deliver world-class products. What You'll Do As a CNC Mill Setup Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring production success by:

• Setting up CNC milling machines, tooling, fixtures, work-holding devices, and machine offsets using approved setup documentation. • Loading, verifying, and proving out CNC programs to ensure seamless production readiness. • Producing and inspecting first-article parts to verify compliance with engineering drawings and customer specifications. • Making machine, tooling, and offset adjustments to achieve and maintain dimensional accuracy. • Ensuring all required cutting tools, gauges, fixtures, and materials are prepared and available before production starts. • Troubleshooting machining, setup, tooling, and fixture issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. • Supporting operators and machinists during job startups, changeovers, and production runs. • Performing tool changes, program adjustments, and setup corrections as required. • Working closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to improve processes, reduce setup times, and solve manufacturing challenges. • Maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work area while following all quality and safety standards. What Makes You Successful Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining and setup experience, preferably in a precision manufacturing environment. • Strong experience setting up CNC milling machines for production. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and manufacturing instructions. • Knowledge of CNC controls, cutting tools, work-holding systems, machining parameters, and setup techniques. • Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, and other precision measuring equipment. • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in AS9100, aerospace, medical, defense, or other regulated manufacturing environments. • Technical school, apprenticeship, or formal machining education. • Experience optimizing setups and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
