Job Title: Deburring Technician - SwingJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Deburring Technician with the ability to read and accurately interpret shop blueprints, technical drawings, and customer specifications. Experience with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers is preferred, along with familiarity with powered electric and/or pneumatic hand tools including grinders and sanders. Aerospace manufacturing experience is advantageous. Responsibilities • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and customer specifications accurately. • Operate grinders and similar powered hand tools to remove burrs and blend or polish surfaces. • Select appropriate methods and tools to comply with specifications. • Operate tumblers; load and unload tumbler hopper as needed. • Perform tasks repeatedly with acute attention to detail. • Ensure compliance with prints and written specifications. Essential Skills • Experience in reading and interpreting shop blueprints and technical drawings. • Experience using precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers. • Experience with powered electric and pneumatic hand tools such as grinders or sanders. • Ability to perform tasks with acute attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Aerospace manufacturing experience is advantageous. • Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull 1 – 50 lbs frequently. • Ability to squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently. • Capability to sit, stand, and walk for 1 – 10 hours per day. • Adaptability to work in a 55 – 85 degree Fahrenheit environment. Work EnvironmentThis position is in a manufacturing environment that may expose you to loud noises and machinery with moving parts. The work requires wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing. The job operates on a day shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, WA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
