Job Title: Machine OperatorJob DescriptionAs a Die Cast Operator, you will set up, run, and monitor die-casting machinery to produce high-quality zinc elevator components such as cab and jamb braille plates. You will manage the manufacturing workflow, inspect finished metal parts, and ensure production standards align with safety and quality guidelines. Responsibilities • Operate and monitor die-casting machines and equipment. • Inspect zinc die-cast parts for sharp definition and defects. • Assist with production scheduling and departmental flow. • Maintain equipment and keep a clean, safe workspace. Essential Skills • Machine operation experience. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. • Previous experience in machine operating. • Quality inspection skills. • Attention to detail. Work EnvironmentWork on the 1st shift from 5:30 am to 2:30 pm with flexibility based on daycare needs. Fridays are shorter, from 5:30 am to 11:30 am. The facility is climate-controlled, providing a comfortable working environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Wing, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
