About this role

Material Handler Pay: $20-$25/hrLocation: NE Portland, ORShift: Swing Shift | 2:30 PM - 1:00 AMPosition Overview We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to support production operations by moving, organizing, and tracking materials throughout receiving, storage, machining, and assembly departments. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, processing incoming freight, and ensuring materials are available where needed. Experience operating a WAV Lift and working within ERP/MRP systems is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities

• Receive, move, allocate, and transfer materials, equipment, kits, and supplies throughout the facility. • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation. • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities. • Process and document inbound freight shipments. • Utilize ERP/MRP systems to track inventory transactions and material movements. • Support production teams by ensuring timely material availability. Qualifications

• At least 2 years of warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience. • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications. • Experience using ERP/MRP systems for inventory tracking. • Comfortable operating a WAV Lift. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Preferred Experience

• Forklift experience (training available if needed). • Experience with cycle counting and inventory accuracy initiatives. • Previous warehouse or material handling experience within a manufacturing environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
