Master Data Specialist

For our Master Data team we are looking for someone who enjoys working with customer data, understands operational processes, and knows how accurate data supports logistics, sales, and customer experience.

If you have experience in Master Data, supply chain, logistics operations, customer service, or working with ERP/operational systems, this role will be a great fit.

This is not a Business Analyst or BI position. It is a hands-on, process-driven role with a strong impact on daily operations.

About the role:

As a Master Data Specialist, you will collaborate with local business units and operational teams across the organisation. Your main responsibility will be to create, update, and maintain customer data, ensuring accuracy and smooth data flow across systems.

You will also help improve Master Data processes by identifying gaps, suggesting improvements, and supporting standardisation efforts. Your work will directly influence operational efficiency and customer experience.

What you will do:

Daily operational tasks

Create and update customer accounts across DFDS organisations, including data verification and required checks.

Support bulk updates, data clean-up activities, and categorisation projects.

Process quality & improvements

Monitor how Master Data moves through the organisation and identify areas for improvement.

Suggest changes that increase data accuracy and make processes more efficient.

Represent the Master Data team in cross-functional discussions and ensure standards are followed.

Supporting operations & customer experience

Understand how data quality affects logistics, sales, and customer service.

Investigate issues raised by colleagues, identify root causes, and escalate when needed.

Work with large datasets in Excel using functions such as XLOOKUP, TRIM, LEFT/RIGHT, and others.

Organising your work

Manage tasks through ticketing systems.

Prioritise multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborate closely with your team and share knowledge.

Work environment

Hybrid model: 2–3 days per week in our Poznań office.

For new joiners, we recommend spending the first 2–3 weeks in the office for smooth onboarding.

Has experience with customer data, ERP systems, or operational processes.

Has worked in logistics, supply chain, customer service, or Master Data environments.

Is detail-oriented and enjoys structured, process-driven work.
