About this role

Job Title: Production Technician Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and hands-on Production/Manufacturing Technician to join our team focused on the electro-mechanical assembly of drones. This role requires specialized skills in PCBA assembly, electronic potting, and adhering to strict manufacturing standards.Responsibilities

• Perform complex electro-mechanical assembly tasks independently, using schematics, drawings, and instructions. • Assemble and test avionics components, including PCB assemblies, cable harnesses, and integrated modules. • Apply precision adhesives and bonding techniques. • Provide real-time design and assembly feedback to Manufacturing and Quality teams, resolving build issues through proper channels. • Follow detailed Manufacturing Process Instructions and strict safety procedures. • Meet aggressive deadlines and flexibly shift priorities across multiple projects. • Record and update data as needed. Essential Skills

• Mechanical PCBA assembly experience. • Proficiency in using hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque drivers, and drills. • Ability to read and follow basic SOPs and non-technical instructions. • Experience with cable and harness routing and electronic potting processes. • Experience in bonding composites, including carbon fiber and epoxies. • Basic computer skills (MacOS or Microsoft). • Fabrication or assembly experience with sheet metal and tube assemblies. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in electro-mechanical or manufacturing assembly in a production environment. • Experience in assembling avionics components such as PCB assemblies and cable harnesses. • Ability to read diagrams and blueprints. • Great problem-solving skills, good judgment, and proactivity. • Strong attention to detail. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm (must be okay with OT and working weekends, if needed)Pay: $28-34/hrLocation: South San Francisco, CA Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of South San Francisco, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
