About this role
Production Supervisor
Location: Tyrone, PA
2nd Shift Schedule: 2:30pm - 12:30am (some weekends required)
Role Requirement: Bilingual (English/Spanish)
At Clemens Food Group, an Operations Supervisor does more than keep production moving. You'll lead the people and processes behind our 2nd-shift bacon slicing operation—coaching your team, solving problems on the floor, and finding better ways to deliver safe, high-quality product every day.
If you're the kind of leader who develops people, holds a high standard, and sees opportunities for improvement others miss, this is a role where you can make an impact.
What You'll Own
• Lead day-to-day operations for our 2nd-shift bacon slicing team
• Coach, develop, recognize, and hold team members accountable
• Build a stronger, more flexible team through cross-training and development
• Monitor production performance and respond quickly when safety, quality, labor, or efficiency fall off target
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying issues, solving root causes, and following improvements through to completion
• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Materials, and other teams to keep the operation running effectively
• Maintain strong execution of HACCP, SSOP, GMP, safety, and quality requirements
What Success Looks Like
You're building a team people can rely on. Expectations are clear. Problems get addressed instead of passed along. Team members are developing new skills. Production targets are understood and acted on. Safety and food quality stay at the center of every decision.
And when there's an issue on the floor, your team knows you'll bring structure, accountability, and a solution-focused approach.
What You Bring
• Supervisory or frontline leadership experience in production, manufacturing, food processing, or a similar operations environment
• A track record of coaching people and improving team performance
• Confidence making decisions in a fast-moving production environment
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience working with operational KPIs, standard work, and compliance requirements
• Professional bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• Availability for 2nd shift, typically beginning around 2:30PM
Military leadership experience is welcome. Experience leading teams in environments where safety, accountability, teamwork, and disciplined execution matter can translate well to this role.
