As a Senior Associate in Regulatory Risk Compliance, you will focus on maintaining regulatory compliance and managing risks for clients, providing advice and solutions. You will help organizations navigate complex regulatory landscapes and enhance their internal controls to mitigate risks effectively. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, grow your personal brand, and deepen your technical skills and awareness of your strengths. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and to deliver quality.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will confirm adherence to regulatory requirements and mitigate risks for clients. You will provide guidance on compliance strategies and help clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes. Within our Risk & Regulatory practice, you will use a broad range of tools, methodologies, and techniques to generate new ideas and solve problems. You will develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing, using reflection to enhance strengths and address development areas.
Responsibilities
• Perform customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), and periodic reviews on high-risk customers and entities. • Analyze transactional activity, customer behavior, and risk indicators to identify suspicious patterns and potential financial crime threats. • Research and gather information from internal and external sources to support investigations and risk assessments. • Utilize tools such as World-Check, database querying platforms, and other research applications to conduct screening and due diligence activities. • Prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive investigative reports documenting findings, risk assessments, and recommended actions. • Assess compliance risks and escalate suspicious activities in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. • Collaborate with compliance, legal, risk, and operational teams to support financial crime prevention initiatives. • Apply a risk-based approach to evaluate customer profiles, transactions, and emerging threats. • Support ongoing monitoring activities and contribute to continuous process improvements within the financial crime compliance framework. What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree - At least 4 years of experience - Oral and written proficiency in English required
