About the location:
About the role As Director of PR & Marketing at The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel, you will lead the hotel's integrated Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Brand Positioning, and Digital strategy. Reporting to the Commercial Director and serving as a key member of the Commercial leadership team, you will shape the hotel's voice and reputation, drive brand awareness and guest engagement, and support commercial growth across rooms, food & beverage, spa, and guest experiences. With a planned start date in January 2027, this is a unique opportunity to play a defining role in the pre-opening journey and market positioning of The Park Gstaad.
What you will do
• Develop and execute integrated PR, Marketing, Communications, Content, and Digital strategies
• Lead brand positioning, storytelling, media relations, influencer engagement, and reputation management
• Drive integrated campaigns, strategic partnerships, activations, and digital growth across paid, owned, and earned channels
• Support commercial performance and direct business through targeted marketing initiatives
• Manage the PR and Marketing budget, agencies, partners, and campaign performance
• Lead, coach, and develop the PR and Marketing team
• Collaborate closely with hotel leadership and Four Seasons Regional and Global Commercial teams
• Ensure alignment with Four Seasons brand standards, corporate guidelines, and data privacy requirements
What you bring
• Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or Digital Marketing, preferably within luxury hospitality, tourism, or luxury consumer brands
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
• Strong expertise in integrated communications, brand management, digital marketing, and reputation building
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing agencies, partnerships, budgets, and campaign performance
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English and German and/or French required. Additional languages are advantageous
• Experience with hotel openings or luxury brand initiatives and knowledge of the Swiss luxury hospitality market are advantageous
• In accordance with Swiss employment regulations, only candidates holding Swiss or EU/EFTA citizenship, or a valid Swiss work authorization, can be considered for this position.

• Full-time, permanent position
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs and seasonality
• Seasonal hotel operation with primary opening periods from June to September and December to March
