This role involves working within women's health, family practice, and pediatrics, ensuring seamless operations through accurate insurance verification, documentation, and referrals. The Clinical Supervisor plans and coordinates the systems, activities, and functions of their respective departments. The supervisor is responsible for the management of the clinical services to the patients; operates within the framework of the company's mission, goals, and policies; provides supervision to the staff members and acts as a liaison between their department in order to interact effectively with professionals, administrative staff, clinical staff, patients, and representatives of community agencies. Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day clinic operations in a high-volume setting. • Ensure accuracy in insurance verification and documentation processes. • Manage and facilitate patient referrals efficiently. • Provide support and supervision to clinic staff. • Implement and maintain clinic protocols and procedures. • Plans, organizes, and directs the delivery of the department services; assures continuing education/training of staff; identifies, analyzes and works towards solution of departmental problems. • Assists the manager with selection, interviews, and hiring of staff as needed. • Supervises orientation of new employees to departmental and appropriate center wide programs and activities. • Identifies and coordinates training needs for staff. • Plans and delegates daily work assignments, supervises staff for completion of assigned work, and evaluates staff based on the center’s performance standards. • Provides staff with time to attend appropriate meetings and job-related trainings in and outside the center. • Ensures that his/her staff maintains open and consistent communication with managed care operations staff in order to provide care coordination support to families entering the center. • Oversees staff scheduling. • Participates in evaluating, formulating, interpreting, and implementing departmental standards of care, policies, and procedures. • Assures that direct reports meet licensure and accreditation standards; participates in preparation for site visits. • Assures the implementation of Eisner Health’s mission in the operation and work environment of the department. Essential Skills
• MA diploma is required. • Proficiency in EMR. • Experience in an FQHC setting. • Bilingual in Spanish with the ability to read, write, and speak fluently. • Strong administrative skills.
