Job Title: Clinical Research CoordinatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Research Coordinator to join our esteemed oncology research team. In this patient-facing role, you will be responsible for screening, recruitment, and managing source documentation for oncology trials. You will work closely with patients, ensuring they are properly consented and enrolled, and follow them throughout their therapy. You will play a crucial role in coordinating with clinic staff, scheduling appointments, and ensuring protocol compliance.Responsibilities

• Screen, consent, and enroll patients in oncology trials. • Manage patient documentation and ensure protocol compliance. • Coordinate with clinic staff to schedule appointments and research procedures. • Work closely with patients and doctors during clinic visits. • Ensure completion of questionnaires and documentation in EMR. • Collaborate with nursing staff, medical assistants, and infusion nurses. • Assist with insurance authorizations and scheduling of EKGs or vitals. • Monitor patient progress and address any side effects. Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator. • Experience in patient study enrollment and oncology trials. • Proficiency in chart review, screening, and consenting patients. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex protocols. • Ability to learn new materials quickly and look at the bigger picture of the study. • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to read protocols and notice side effects. • Experience working with sick oncology patients. Work EnvironmentOur work environment includes being part of a prestigious comprehensive cancer center known for cutting-edge oncology research. We conduct a variety of trials, including pharmaceutical-sponsored Phase I and II trials, as well as investigator-led and federally sponsored studies. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility. You will be working on-site and closely with clinical and data management teams. We offer reimbursement for the CCRC Exam/Certification, cover ACRP membership fees, and provide tuition reimbursement. Employees may also qualify for federal programs. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
