The Opportunity
We are looking for a Shipping Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Devizes. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth day-to-day execution of shipping operations, enhancing supply chain efficiencies, and supporting our commitment to superior customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
Manage and coordinate shipping schedules and adjust them as required to meet changing needs and priorities.
Monitor and improve transportation processes to enhance delivery performance and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with the inventory team to track material movements and maintain optimal stock levels.
Address and resolve any shipping-related issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
Develop and implement strategies for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of shipping processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a shipping or logistics environment.
Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics operations.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to work under pressure.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
Proficiency in using shipping management software and MS Office Suite.
