What You Can Expect 
 The Commercial Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the commercial business through efficient logistics, order fulfillment, inventory coordination, and customer service activities. The role will primarily focus on ensuring the timely availability and delivery of orthopedic implants, instruments, and loaner/consignment sets to hospitals and healthcare providers across Saudi Arabia.

How You'll Create Impact 
 1. Logistics & Order Fulfillment

• Coordinate end-to-end logistics activities for commercial orders, including shipment planning, transportation, customs clearance, and final delivery. • Ensure products are delivered to hospitals and customers on time and in line with planned surgical cases. • Coordinate urgent and time-critical deliveries for scheduled surgeries. • Monitor shipments from origin to final delivery and resolve any logistics issues or delays. • Coordinate with freight forwarders, couriers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution. 2. Loaner & Consignment Operations

• Coordinate the deployment, movement, return, and replenishment of loaner and consignment inventory. • Ensure the required implant and instrument sets are available for planned surgeries. • Monitor consignment stock levels and coordinate replenishment based on business requirements. • Support stock counts and reconciliation activities at hospitals and warehouses. • Ensure timely return of loaner sets after procedures and coordinate their availability for future cases.

3. Inventory & Supply Coordination

• Monitor inventory availability and identify potential shortages that may impact planned cases. • Coordinate with IBP Team to secure required products and replenishment. • Review SKU-level availability and support allocation of inventory to customer requirements. • Follow up on open orders, backorders, allocations, and shipments. • Support inventory optimization and minimize unnecessary stock movements and operational costs.

4. Commercial Support

• Work closely with the Sales and Commercial teams to understand upcoming surgical requirements and delivery priorities. • Provide visibility on product availability, shipment status, and expected delivery dates. • Support the Commercial team in maximizing sales opportunities by ensuring product availability. • Escalate supply or logistics constraints that may impact revenue or customer commitments.

5. Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure all shipments comply with Saudi regulatory and customs requirements. • Coordinate required shipping and customs documentation. • Ensure proper documentation for temporary imports, loaner shipments, consignment movements, and returns. • Follow company SOPs and applicable SFDA, customs, and other regulatory requirements.

6. Systems & Reporting

• Maintain accurate transactions and information in SAP and relevant supply chain systems. • Track operational KPIs including: • o On-time delivery o Order fulfillment o Shipment lead time o Inventory availability o Backorders o Loaner/consignment utilization o Stock accuracy

• Prepare regular operational reports and provide actionable updates to Commercial and Supply Chain management.

What Makes You Stand Out 

• Strong logistics and supply chain knowledge. • Experience in medical devices, orthopedic products, healthcare, or a similar regulated industry is preferred. • Strong understanding of inventory management and order fulfillment. • Excellent coordination and communication skills. • Ability to manage urgent, time-sensitive surgical requirements. • Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills. • Ability to work effectively with Sales, IBP, Warehouse, Finance, Regulatory, and external logistics partners. • Good knowledge of SAP systems and Microsoft Excel (data analysis). • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. • Strong customer-focused mindset.

Your Background 

• Bachelor's degree • Experience in commercial operations, logistics, supply chain, or healthcare/medical device operations is preferred. • Experience working with hospitals, distributors, 3PLs, or medical device companies is an advantage. • Knowledge of Saudi customs and logistics processes is preferred.
