As a Senior Lead Software Engineer in our Technology team, you will lead and mentor a group of skilled developers to design and deliver robust, scalable software solutions. You will work with us to make key architectural decisions, implement best practices, and drive the adoption of modern engineering tools. Your hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies will help us deliver high-quality products that support our business and clients. Job responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing technical guidance and mentorshipOversee the software development lifecycle to ensure high-quality deliverables and best practicesArchitect, design, and implement scalable, robust, and secure software solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancementsDrive the adoption of modern engineering practices and toolsConduct code reviews, set coding standards, and ensure code qualityIdentify and resolve technical challenges and bottlenecksFoster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field8 years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or management roleExpertise in Java (Java 8 or above), including object-oriented programming, multithreading, and performance optimizationExtensive experience building microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring BootHands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud PlatformProficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, and familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or CassandraExperience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, or KubernetesSolid understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks such as JUnit and MockitoAbility to design scalable, maintainable, and secure software architecturesProven experience leading and managing engineering teams, mentoring developers, and driving best practicesStrong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
