JOB DESCRIPTION
The Portfolio Management Analyst III is responsible for leading portfolio planning, governance, prioritization, execution visibility, and strategic portfolio management activities across Digital Marketing and Technology initiatives.
This role serves as a key advisor to leadership by providing portfolio insights, governance recommendations, prioritization guidance, execution transparency, and operational maturity improvements. The Analyst III drives alignment across functions, facilitates governance forums, influences decisions, and supports leadership in achieving business objectives through effective portfolio management practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Portfolio Governance & Intake Management
Lead portfolio governance and intake management activitiesEstablish and maintain governance standards, controls, and operating proceduresFacilitate governance forums and support executive decision-makingDrive portfolio transparency, accountability, and compliance Portfolio Planning & Prioritization
Lead portfolio planning and prioritization effortsDevelop strategic recommendations, trade-off analysis, and sequencing optionsPartner with leaders to align portfolio investments with business objectivesInfluence prioritization and resource allocation decisions Reporting & Portfolio Visibility
Develop executive dashboards, scorecards, and portfolio reviewsPresent portfolio health, performance metrics, risks, and recommendations to leadershipDeliver actionable insights that support strategic decision makingDrive continuous improvement of portfolio reporting and visibility Stakeholder Coordination
Serve as a trusted partner across business and technology organizationsLead coordination efforts involving complex dependencies and competing prioritiesDrive issue resolution and escalation managementInfluence outcomes without direct authority Continuous Improvement
Identify and implement portfolio management best practicesDrive maturity improvements across governance, planning, reporting, and prioritization processesLead initiatives focused on operational excellence and organizational effectiveness
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge and Skills
Advanced knowledge of portfolio management, governance, business analysis, and program management practicesStrong strategic thinking and executive communication abilitiesAbility to influence business decisions and organizational outcomesAdvanced analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skillsExperience facilitating governance forums and executive-level discussionsAbility to translate complex information into actionable recommendationsAdvanced proficiency with portfolio reporting, planning, and analytics toolsExperience supporting privacy programs, customer data governance initiatives, consent management platforms, or marketing technology ecosystems within financial services or other highly regulated industries. Work Experience
5+ years of experience in portfolio management, program management, project management, business analysis, governance, operations, technology delivery, or related disciplines requiredExperience leading cross-functional initiatives involving multiple business and technology stakeholders requiredExperience developing executive-level reporting, governance materials, business cases, and strategic recommendations requiredExperience supporting Digital Marketing, Customer Experience, Product Management, Technology, Analytics, or Enterprise Transformation organizations preferredExperience leading portfolio governance, demand management, capacity planning, or prioritization activities preferredExperience within financial services or other highly regulated industries preferred Education
High School Diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Information Systems, Technology, Project Management, or related field; or equivalent work experience requiredMaster's Degree in Business Administration or related discipline preferred
