About this role

SP Industries, an ATS Company, is expanding our team in Gardiner, NY and is looking for motivated, hands-on individuals to join us as Assemblers.

Whether you're an experienced assembler, a recent graduate from a technical or trade school, or someone looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing, we'd love to talk with you. We are willing to train candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

Assemble mechanical systems, components, and subassembliesRead and work from drawings, work instructions, and process documentationUse hand tools, power tools, fixtures, drills, saws, and other manufacturing equipmentInstall and align piping, brackets, assemblies, and componentsPerform brazing, soldering, polishing, painting, and other fabrication tasksEnsure products meet quality and performance standardsOperate material handling equipment such as carts, forklifts, and cranesComplete production documentation accurately and on time What We're Looking For

High School Diploma or GEDTechnical School graduates encouraged to applyMechanical aptitude and willingness to learnBasic manufacturing or assembly experience preferredAbility to read drawings and follow work instructionsWelding, brazing, soldering, HVAC, automotive, refrigeration, maintenance, or manufacturing experience is a plusForklift certification is a plus, but not required Great Fit For Candidates With Backgrounds In:

Pay: $21-$25 per hour

HSE

All employees have the responsibility to work in a safe manner and report any health, safety or environmental concern to their manager or supervisor in a timely manner.

Employee responsibilities for Health, Safety and Environment include:
