About this role
The Fund Accounting - VP will be responsible for timely and accurate delivery of NAV for Pension, Superannuation and Investment Manager Clients. The team validates the Net Asset Valuation or unit prices before being released to the clients. As well as providing direction and leadership in coordinating and monitoring fund accounting activities to ensure timely and accurate creation, review and delivery of valuations. Work with partners and key stakeholders locally and outside of Manila to ensure all deliverables are met on time and as per agreed service level agreements.
As a Vice President within the Fund Accounting team, you will play a senior role in supervising the NAV production process to guarantee precise and punctual calculation of the NAV in accordance with procedures. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring all deliverables are met within the Service Level Agreements. Additionally, you will serve as a senior point of contact for cross-functional collaboration and an escalation point for resolving all issues satisfactorily.

Ownership for publication of accurate and timely NAVs for Asset Managers and Owners. Manage the workflow through the life cycle of any of the Fund Accounting sub functionsOperational management and control of the daily workflow within the Fund Accounting teamMaximize team capacity through effective resource planning and ensure team structure is robust through effective training and succession planningEnsure all daily controls and processing are completed and signed off including client service inquiry resolution, as well as all key metrics are produced as requiredProvide direction and leadership to the teamProvide effective communications to the department, ensuring staff are aware of strategic and regulatory changes in the organizationContinued review of content and presentation of Standard Operating Procedures, in line with introduction of new policies and ongoing risk management activitiesContribute to the strategic development of Fund Accounting productsManaging effective relationship with stakeholders across the locations Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
The candidate should have 12+ years or more experience in a Fund Accounting environment with experience in delivering Unit Prices and Net Asset Valuations. Front-to-back understanding of Asset Manager/Owner business and end-to-end Fund Accounting lifecycle operationsStrong knowledge of accounting standards applicable to Asset Managers and OwnersFamiliarity with taxation rules applicable to Asset ManagersSolid understanding of investment instruments and derivative productsStrong people-management skills; able to lead, motivate, and develop managersDemonstrated ability to rapidly learn new markets, products, and processesConfident, effective communicator (written and verbal) with internal and external clients across multiple sitesStrategic, continuous-improvement mindset; able to implement process enhancements and automation while managing operational risk/regulatory requirementsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)Highly organized, proactive team player with strong attention to detail; delivers high-precision work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
