Job summary
As a Business Banking Product Controller on the Product Control team, you will help deliver accurate, timely financial and regulatory reporting that supports strategic decision-making. You will analyze, prepare, and reconcile accounting and technical data, and translate results into clear reporting for stakeholders. You will look for opportunities to streamline close and reporting timelines through process improvement and automated solutions. You will partner closely with Finance and other cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and maintain strong financial reporting practices.

Manage month-end reporting and assigned regulatory reporting deliverablesAnalyze, prepare, and reconcile accounting and technical data to support reporting accuracyPrepare clear, concise reports and materials for stakeholders and senior leadershipPartner with Finance, Planning and Analysis, and other functional teams to deliver insights and resolve questionsEnhance controls and streamline processes, including integrating automated solutionsImplement new accounting standards and reporting requirements by staying current on Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory changes impacting the businessEscalate issues appropriately and communicate complex information clearly and effectivelyCollaborate across stakeholder groups to analyze new business initiatives and track outcomesMaintain and improve financial and reporting systems to support ongoing business needsProvide support for routine reporting, continuous ad hoc requests, and innovation initiatives Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, controllership, financial reporting, or related workWorking knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and deliver accurate results under pressureStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to distill complex data into clear, executive-ready insightsStrong organization and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience using SAP and data tools (for example: Databricks and SQL) for data sourcing, reconciliation, and reporting Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Experience supporting regulatory reporting deliverables in a financial services environmentExperience improving close/reporting cycle times through automation or process redesignExperience building reconciliations, controls, and documentation for key reporting processesProven ability to partner across functions and influence outcomes without direct authorityExperience presenting analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders
