Your role – Are you ready for a challenge?

The Private Markets Structuring Analyst is responsible for performing adequate assessment of structuring and risks linked to the acceptance of new Private Markets Investments being Private Equity, Real Estate or any other alternative assets with limited liquidity and transferability, in order to mitigate Lombard International’s financial, operational, legal and reputational risks.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

• Proper due diligence of new Private Market investments until the final target assets held within the investment structure to be acquired by and held by the insurance policies;

• Analysis and good understanding of standard private equity deal documentation and agreement is key for this role;

• Enhanced assessment of the valuation of the new unquoted investments as well as all relevant risk factors related to that investment within an insurance policy as a whole;

• Close supervision and coordination of any restructuring, corporate action on existing positions in unquoted assets;

• Ensuring proper documentation and filing of collected and analysed documentation and evidence;

• Ensuring accurate application of the corporate Private Markets Investment policy and Private Markets Assets acceptance procedure.

Your profile – Have you got what it takes to become our Private Markets Structuring Analyst?

• Master (Bac +4) in finance, corporate law or business administration;

• 3-5 years’ experience within Private Equity funds administration or Bank Private Equity desk in unlisted companies and private equity funds or audit experience in PE funds or unquoted companies and tax structuring;

• Luxembourg collective investments laws (SIF / RAIF/ AIF / ELTIF / Evergreen funds) in the light of investment in Private Markets assets;

• Knowledge of the Luxembourg fund industry regulatory requirements would be a plus;

• Strong capabilities in risk assessment, analysing financial reports, M&A and corporate finance agreements;

• Strong team player and strong communication skills, motivated to learn;

• Hands on attitude, we expect the person to take full ownership of the cases they will be dealing with;

• French Speaker with fluency in English are mandatory, any other European Languages would be considered as an asset;

• Skilled user of MS Office.
