About this role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will own the full-cycle recruitment process from entry-level to mid-level roles at Catena Media with a focus on ,sourcing and assessing candidates while acting as a trusted partner to hiring managers, guiding them throughout the hiring process. This role will be responsible for hiring mainly across our hub locations; Malta and Miami. This is more than a recruitment-only role: it's an opportunity to grow within the People Experience function. The successful candidate will gain exposure to office operations, employee engagement, onboarding, and other HR processes.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

Recruitment

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from job briefing through to offer, in close partnership with hiring managers.

• Proactively source candidates where required, beyond relying on inbound applications.

• Screen and assess candidates against role requirements and team fit, exercising independent judgment on suitability.

• Provide hiring managers with structured, well-reasoned feedback and recommendations on candidates throughout the process.

• Recruit across multiple markets, including Malta and Miami, gaining exposure to different hiring landscapes, talent pools, and local nuances.

• Advise and guide hiring managers on interview approach, market conditions, and candidate expectations.

• Deliver training and guidance to hiring managers on interviewing best practices, compliant hiring procedures, and effective use of the ATS.

• Source and interview candidates using a range of channels, including local job boards, LinkedIn, and direct sourcing.

• Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a smooth, timely, and professional candidate journey.

• Draft and maintain job descriptions and job adverts that reflect a consistent and engaging employer message.

• Manage candidate communications, ensuring a positive and inclusive candidate experience at every stage.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the ATS.

• Ensure compliance with applicable data privacy laws across all jurisdictions, across the recruitment process, including regular reviews of ATS data retention, candidate data handling, and record-keeping practices.

• Support employer branding efforts across job boards and social media in collaboration with the People Experience Manager.

• Support the People Experience Manager on senior-level and specialist hires.

• Any other adhoc tasks as assigned by management from time to time.

Flexibility & Team Support

• Be willing to step in and support other areas of the People Experience function as needed.

• Act as a flexible team player, contributing wherever support is needed across HR to help the wider team deliver a great employee experience.

TO DO IT, YOU WILL NEED:

• 1-3 years' experience in a similar role within the iGaming industry is a must

• Proven experience recruiting for technical/IT roles, including direct sourcing and full-cycle ownership from briefing through offer would be an asset

• A flexible, hands-on team player, willing to pitch in across the wider HR function whenever needed.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with candidates and hiring managers alike.

• Comfortable recruiting across different markets and adapting to different hiring landscapes and time zones.

• Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.

• Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential employee information.
