Salary: £46,000 - 66,000 per year
Requirements: We ideally want you to be a Chartered Engineer.You will have proven experience in Configuration Management (CM) toolsets and CM practice.You will ideally have previous experience leading or coaching a team.We will also consider candidates stepping into management for the first time.You will have excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to deal with stakeholders at various levels. Responsibilities: We will lead in analysing local business Product Configuration processes to tailor functional guidance, information management technology solutions, and training that maintain product information configuration.We will be responsible for planning and management, identification and breakdown, change control, status accounting, verification and audit, and preparation of engineering baselines.We will ensure the effective implementation of configuration management plans and policies.We will develop and implement appropriate tools, processes, and practices as set out in the River Class Destroyer Programme Product Configuration Management Plan.We will develop configuration baselines in alignment with the design review strategy and share these baselines with the wider programme.We will lead the configuration team through business change, encouraging continuous improvement.We will act as a change agent, helping the team adapt to new processes or tools. We are a multinational Aerospace & Defence organisation offering a hybrid working arrangement, with 1–2 days per week on site in Glasgow, Filton (Bristol), or Portsmouth, and we will also consider candidates from other locations.
