Salary: £25,000 - 50,000 per year
Requirements: Previous experience in an IT Project Management, Systems Analyst or Software Development role.Experience delivering projects within Financial Services, Banking or another regulated environment.Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.Experience implementing and supporting business applications and packaged software solutions.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently within a small, highly collaborative IT team.Experience with some of the following technologies would be highly beneficial: OutSystems, PHP, Microsoft SQL Server / SSIS, Power BI or Tableau, database design and data warehousing, Excel VBA, IBM RPG / CL, Windows Server, IIS, Git.Knowledge of security-by-design principles and cyber security best practices would be advantageous. Responsibilities: Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects from initial concept through to delivery and support.Gather and analyse business requirements to design effective technical solutions.Evaluate, select and implement new software platforms and business applications.Develop and customise systems where required to meet business needs.Work with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery.Support cyber security, audit and regulatory initiatives across the IT function.Create technical documentation, procedures and training materials.Provide knowledge transfer and technical training to both IT and business users. We are a well-established financial services organisation in London offering a permanent IT Project Manager / Software Developer position. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 4 days per week on-site, based in central London, and gives you the opportunity to work closely with our Head of IT in a small, highly collaborative team.
