Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year
Requirements: Proven line management experience, including supporting, developing and managing team performance.Extensive knowledge of Windows Server and client technologies, including core Windows domain services.Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including firewalls, routers and switches across multiple platforms.Experience in system design and integration, following best practice and Secure by Design methodologies.Working knowledge of virtualisation technologies across multiple platforms.Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware, software and networking issues.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence working directly with customers.A creative and practical approach to problem solving.Strong attention to detail.Must be a UK National and eligible to work in the UK.Must be eligible to obtain and maintain UK Government Security Check (SC) / Developed Vetting (DV)-level security clearance.Desirable: experience working with MoD or other secure, air-gapped networks.Desirable: project management experience. Responsibilities: Lead and develop a team of Delivery Engineers while combining people management with hands-on technical delivery.Own technical tasking and IT project delivery across a specified customer contract, balancing business impact, timescales, resources and security requirements.Monitor and maintain critical systems and advanced networks.Provide 3rd line support and troubleshoot complex hardware, software and networking issues.Contribute to system design and solution architecture.Attend customer and technical planning meetings and provide knowledgeable technical input.Work across secure and technically challenging projects for us, our customers and industry partners.Travel regularly to UK customer sites, with occasional overseas trips and extended periods away from home.
