As our new Sub System Architect you will play a key role in shaping the design of our radar solutions. You will work alongside talented, committed colleagues who share a passion for technology. We are expanding our team and are looking for a Sub System Architect to lead the architecture of key subsystems e.g., pedestals, trailers, cooling, or power from concept to verification. You will translate system needs into robust solutions, interfaces, and guide cross disciplinary design through specification, reviews, integration, and test. Verifying and developing designs is done by review, simulations, and prototyping. Your impact Be responsible for the subsystem architecture: define purpose, scope, block diagrams, interfaces, BOM structure, and key design decisions. Requirements flow down & compliance: allocate system requirements to subsystem level, maintain compliance matrices/SoC, and support traceability through design, test, and verification. Interface leadership: specify and manage interfaces to neighboring subsystems and external equipment and ensure early alignment. Design coordination: collaborate with engineering disciplines Mechanical, Electrical and Software, to meet performance, reliability, maintainability, and safety requirements. Risk & change control: identify technical risks, propose mitigations, and manage changes while safeguarding architectural integrity. Integration & verification: support build, bring-up, test planning, environmental testing (shock, vibration, thermal), and verification reports. Reviews & communication: prepare architecture packages and lead design reviews. Communicate decisions and rationales to stakeholders, and ensure documentation is clear and ready for review. Your background and experience BSc/MSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar. Solid systems engineering mindset and preferably a few years of experience from a similar role. Experience with functional decomposition, interfaces, requirements, verification/validation, and standards. Ability to create clear technical documentation and lead collaborative reviews.
