About this role

Lead and oversee all day-to-day operations of the People & Culture Department while collaborating with executive leadership on the strategic implementation of human resources initiativesDevelop and execute a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with organizational goals, values, and mission, while remaining adaptable to evolving business needsFoster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that encourages open communication, psychological safety, mutual respect, and employee engagementServe as a strategic partner to all departments, providing expert guidance on talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and HR policy mattersOversee all aspects of HR administration including compensation and benefits management, leave administration, performance management, talent development, occupational health and safety, and training and development programsLead recruitment efforts in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring a streamlined and inclusive hiring process that attracts diverse talentManage the People & Culture budget with precision, including forecasting, expense tracking, month-end reporting, and strategic financial planningChampion employee relations by addressing concerns, mediating conflicts, and conducting investigations with fairness, transparency, and empathyEmpower departmental leaders and managers with coaching, support, and actionable development plans to enhance their leadership capabilitiesEnsure full organizational compliance with local employment laws, regulations, and best practices,Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvementOversee employee recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and organizational events that celebrate achievements and strengthen team cohesionDrive innovation in HR processes and practices, continuously challenging the status quo to enhance both employee and organizational experiencesHandle disciplinary matters and employee terminations in accordance with company policy and legal requirements, maintaining confidentiality and professionalismProvide professional, engaging, and supportive service to all employees, demonstrating commitment to their growth and well-beingPerform additional duties and special projects as assigned by senior leadership

Knowledge & Experience

Masters / Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field (preferred)Minimum 5 to 8 years of progressive Human Resources Management experience, with minimum 2 years in a director-level or equivalent strategic HR roleExtensive knowledge of all aspects of HR operations including compensation, benefits, performance management, talent acquisition, employee relations, and complianceStrong understanding of Cambodia labor law & regulations, and local compliance requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex HR concepts to diverse audiencesDemonstrated ability to train, coach, and develop leaders at all organizational levelsProven expertise in strategic HR planning, organizational development, and change managementStrong analytical and data interpretation skills with proficiency in HR metrics and analyticsExcellent people skills with exceptional emotional intelligence, empathy, and interpersonal abilitiesSolid budgeting and forecasting capabilities with demonstrated business acumen and financial management experienceKnowledge of expense management and HR technology systemsProven conflict resolution and employee relations expertiseStrong organizational and project management skills with meticulous attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining professional boundaries and assertiveness when neededFlexibility and resilience in adapting to changing business priorities and organizational needsExperience in recruitment and talent acquisition oversightFamiliarity with HR compliance audits and policy developmentHospitality, technology, or multinational organization experience is considered an assetExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Championing CSR and sustainability initiatives that benefit the hotel, employees, and the local community.Competencies
