Job Description: 1. Housekeeping Operations Management
• Lead and oversee all housekeeping operations across GHC, including villas, apartments, guest accommodations, halls, public areas, learning facilities, recreational spaces, and other campus amenities.
• Develop, implement, and enforce housekeeping standards, policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and hygiene practices to ensure consistent service excellence.
• Establish quality assurance programs and conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety, and operational consistency.
• Monitor housekeeping performance indicators and implement corrective measures to improve service delivery continuously.
• Oversee the resolution of guest feedback, complaints, and housekeeping-related issues to enhance guest satisfaction and overall resort experience.
• Collaborate closely with maintenance, hospitality, events, and facility teams to ensure seamless operational support and facility readiness.
2. Landscape and Grounds Management
• Lead the planning, development, and implementation of landscaping concepts that enhance the visual appeal and overall guest experience of GHC.
• Oversee the upkeep, cleanliness, and presentation of gardens, walkways, recreational areas, open spaces, and other outdoor facilities in accordance with GHC standards.
• Drive landscaping programs, beautification projects, and sustainability initiatives to maintain an attractive, functional, and environmentally responsible environment.
• Ensure all grounds and landscape assets are maintained in a safe, aesthetically pleasing, and operationally effective condition.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in landscape design, maintenance practices, and resource utilization.
3. Resource Management
• Lead, coach, and develop housekeeping personnel, gardeners, and service contractors to achieve operational excellence and service standards.
• Plan manpower deployment, duty rosters, work schedules, and contractor assignments to support seven-day operational requirements.
• Monitor workforce productivity and optimize resource allocation to meet operational demands efficiently.
• Manage housekeeping and landscaping inventories, equipment, materials, and supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations and cost-effective resource utilization.
• Ensure contractors and service providers perform according to contractual obligations, safety requirements, and established service standards.
4. Operational Excellence, Compliance and Governance
• Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies, SOPs, and performance standards to achieve operational efficiency, service excellence, and sustainability.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements, occupational safety and health regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Support budget planning, expenditure monitoring, cost control initiatives, and resource optimization efforts within housekeeping and landscape operations.
• Conduct operational audits, risk assessments, and performance reviews to identify improvement opportunities and ensure compliance with established standards.
5. Stakeholder and Guest Experience Management
• Drive initiatives that strengthen GHC’s reputation as SD Guthrie’s premier corporate hospitality and learning destination.
• Foster strong collaboration with internal stakeholders, business units, event organizers, facility management teams, and service providers to support business objectives.
• Support campus events, learning programs, corporate functions, and hospitality activities by ensuring facilities and grounds are maintained to the highest standards.
• Champion a service culture focused on guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

• Strengthening the image and positioning of Golden Hope Campus as a flagship hospitality and learning destination of SD Guthrie.
Job Requirements
• Diploma in Business Administration, Tourism, Event Management, or a related field, or
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in hospitality, guest relations, customer service, facilities management, or administrative coordination.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests, clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and hospitality or booking management systems.
• Ability to coordinate meetings, events, visitor management, travel arrangements, and hospitality services efficiently.
• Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to providing a positive guest experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in vendor management, procurement coordination, and budget monitoring is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Flexible to work outside normal business hours when supporting events or special functions.
