Job Description The Opportunity: Saint Luke’s Primary Care in Independence is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to be an integral part of our team that delivers high quality patient-centered medical care to our community. Shift Details - Full-time 8:30am - 5pm The Work: This positions primary responsibilities are phlebotomy while also having the ability to assist in the rooming of patients when needed as an MA.
Provide an excellent patient experience by managing the flow of patients, providing excellent customer service, establishing rapport with patients and maintaining a professional demeanor. Conduct Pre-visit plans, room patients and obtain vitals Phlebotomy Administer injections and coordinate vaccines Assist providers with procedures Utilize the EMR system and scan/download documents Conduct telephone screening (with protocols) Cover front office responsibilities as needed In this position you will have the opportunity to make a difference in our patients’ clinic experience so we are looking for someone that has a positive attitude, strong customer service skills and is eager to be a team player.
