Job Overview Examines the incoming and outgoing stocks, stores and distributes materials, and performs administrative tasks involved in shipping. Job Requirements Scanning, labeling, and wrapping of the materials using the procedures followed in the organization. Operating machines for lifting heavy items and moving raw materials or finished goods from the production area. Preparing goods for final shipment and maintaining records of weights and shipping costs. Documenting the required paperwork and forms for the outgoing materials and assisting with preparing bills of lading. What your background should look like Entry level position, typically requiring little to no related work experience. Completion of high school or equivalent is usually required.
