LSE Research and Innovation supports the School’s ambitious and growing EU research portfolio. We are seeking a Senior EU Project Manager to lead on LSE-led Horizon Europe consortium development and project delivery, at a pivotal moment in the School’s EU funding growth.

Working alongside the Senior EU Development Manager, you will lead the design, development and submission of competitive EU consortium applications, acting as a strategic partner to Principal Investigators throughout the project lifecycle. Once funded, you will manage the day-to-day delivery of LSE-led EU projects, ensuring compliance with EU requirements and effective performance against milestones and budgets.

Candidates should have:

Demonstrable depth of expertise in EU funding, including policy, evaluation processes, and compliance and building successful funding strategies Experience of hands-on support for complex, multi-partner EU consortiums, including direct contribution to the proposal and project Experience of working with research finance to support EU project financial management, including budget structures, eligible cost principles, and reporting requirements Highly developed communication skills (oral and written), with experience of reporting, presenting and grant writing.
