Do you have the electrical maintenance expertise to help keep a complex university estate safe, compliant and well maintained?

We’re looking for an Electrical Asset Manager to ensure the University’s electrical assets remain compliant, safe and effective for users. You’ll lead planned maintenance and inspection activity, oversee reactive defects, manage electrical safety and safe systems of work, and help ensure electrical maintenance services meet required standards across academic, operational and residential spaces.

You’ll coordinate in-house labour and contractors, manage resources effectively, and work closely with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders to maintain service levels, resolve defects and support continuous improvement across the estate.

As Electrical Asset Manager you can expect to be involved in:

Managing planned maintenance, inspections and compliance across electrical assets Overseeing reactive electrical works, defect resolution and customer updates Leading electrical safety, safe systems of work and operational health and safety Managing budgets, procurement, contractors and stakeholder relationships

What will you bring to the role?

An electrical engineering qualification, or equivalent sustained industry experience Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services, facilities management and compliance Experience developing maintenance processes and managing maintenance budgets Proven leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
