The role is part time (0.6 FTE), fixed term until February 2028.

A basic DBS check is required for this role.

This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. The School of Pharmacy at the University of Reading wishes to appoint an experienced researcher to undertake the OPTI-MED project funded by the NIHR Research for Patient Benefit scheme.

OPTI-MED is an interdisciplinary project that aims to co-develop a medication optimisation intervention that empowers people with mild cognitive impairment or dementia who live at home, and their informal caregivers, to take an active part when making medication-related decisions in General Practice settings.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the research activities related to the OPTI-MED project. You will have:

Knowledge and application of co-design and participatory design principles Hands-on experience of developing and producing/making interventions. Strong oral and visual communication skills. Ability to engage with a wide range of people about healthcare. Strong collaborative skills, with demonstrable enthusiasm for working effectively within interdisciplinary teams Good project management and time management skills
