If you thrive in a space where ideas accelerate, challenges spark growth, and making a difference is the goal, ViCentra is your next great adventure. 🚀 👩💻 Your Impact As Software Engineer, iOS, you'll be a contributor to ViCentra's growing in-house mobile engineering team and to the long-term evolution of the Kaleido App. The app is currently built by an external partner, and once delivered, full ownership transitions to ViCentra and to the team you'll help lead. You'll take the app forward through maintenance, enhancement, and future feature development, keeping it robust, user-focused, and compliant with medical-device regulations. This is a hands-on engineering role with real-world impact, building iOS software in Swift that interfaces with regulated medical devices and is used every day by people who depend on it. Working closely with the Mobile Engineering Manager and cross-functional teams, you'll set technical direction and coding standards for the iOS codebase, mentor less experienced engineers, and directly shape patient safety, product quality, and ViCentra's ability to scale its technology globally. 🔧 What You’ll Take On In your role, you will: Design, implement, and maintain iOS applications (Swift) used in conjunction with ViCentra's medical devices. Lead and contribute to projects across the full software development lifecycle, from concept and architecture through testing, release, and maintenance. Set technical direction and coding standards for the iOS codebase, writing clean, well-structured, and testable code aligned with design specifications and best practices. Lead peer code reviews and mentor less experienced engineers, driving knowledge sharing across the mobile team. Support verification, validation, and release activities, including the required quality system documentation. Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System and applicable medical device standards. Collaborate closely with usability, testing, systems, cloud, quality, and regulatory teams. Contribute to building a best-in-class mobile development environment within a regulated context. Stay current with iOS and mobile development trends, continuously raising the technical bar for the team.
