About this role
We are currently seeking dedicated Deli Assistants to join our team at SPAR Newport. As a Deli Assistant, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our deli department. Responsibilities: Prepare and serve a variety of deli products Assist customers with their deli orders and provide recommendations Maintain a clean and organized deli counter and work area Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring products are fresh and well-stocked Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs and achieve department goals
