Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You This role is responsible for driving international business opportunities across both Hilton Malta and DoubleTree by Hilton Malta by developing strategic relationships within global markets and generating sustainable revenue growth, with a particular focus on the MICE segment.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
• Develop and implement international business development strategies aligned with the hotels' commercial objectives.
• Identify, secure, and grow business opportunities across MICE, corporate, leisure, and other travel segments.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with key international clients, travel partners, destination management companies, meeting planners, and Hilton Worldwide Sales teams.
• Represent Hilton Malta and DoubleTree by Hilton Malta at international trade shows, sales missions, networking events, and client meetings.
• Promote both hotels throughout the Hilton global network, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and collaboration.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging source markets to identify commercial opportunities.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective use of CRM systems.
• Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Operations, and Sales & Events teams to maximise business conversion and customer satisfaction.
What It Takes to Make the Stay
• A minimum of three years' experience in international hotel sales, business development, or account management.
• Experience within an upper-upscale or luxury hospitality environment.
• Proven experience working with international corporate accounts, MICE business, leisure segments, or global travel partners.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Sound analytical capabilities and proficiency in CRM systems.
• The ability to work independently while managing multiple international markets and stakeholders.
• Professionalism, cultural awareness, and a strong customer-focused approach.
• Previous experience with Hilton commercial systems and global sales structures will be considered an asset.
