About this role
About the Role The Custody Solutions Managed Accounts Platform team owns our separately managed account (SMA) platform — the managers on it, the advisors and clients who use it, and the operating infrastructure behind it. We're hiring an Associate to help run that ecosystem: supporting relationships with third-party SMA managers and TAMPs, acting as a product specialist for advisors, contributing to the product roadmap, and coordinating with the operations, trading, and service functions that keep the platform running. It suits someone early-to-mid career who is equally comfortable in front of an advisor and in the detail of an operational workflow — and who wants exposure across the full product lifecycle rather than a single narrow function. Key Responsibilities Manager & TAMP Relationship Management and Onboarding
• Execute onboarding of new SMA managers and TAMPs — coordinating due diligence, contracting, model delivery setup, operational readiness, and go-live. • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for a portfolio of managers and TAMP partners; prepare and support periodic business reviews on flows, performance, and service quality. • Work with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to progress agreements and ongoing oversight requirements. • Track and report partner KPIs (assets, net flows, model delivery timeliness, error rates) and flag issues for remediation. Client Engagement / Product Specialist
• Act as a product specialist for investment advisors and prospects — supporting platform overviews, manager deep-dives, and sales presentations. • Support sales and relationship teams with training materials, competitive positioning, and responses to escalated client questions. Product Development
• Contribute to the SMA/UMA roadmap — new manager and strategy additions, new capabilities, fee structures, and platform enhancements. • Support business cases with market sizing, competitive benchmarking, economics, and operational feasibility analysis. • Partner with Technology and Operations on requirements gathering, testing, and rollout. Internal Coordination Across Operations, Trading, and Service
• Coordinate across operations, trading, and service to ensure accounts run to standard. • Triage platform issues, drive root-cause resolution with the relevant teams, and identify process improvements. • Maintain platform documentation, procedures, and controls; support audit, risk, and regulatory reviews. • Balance project work against recurring day-to-day operating requirements. Required Qualifications
• Background in asset management and/or RIA custody — exposure to SMAs, UMAs, model delivery, or managed account platforms at an asset manager, TAMP, broker-dealer, RIA, or custodian. [3–6] years of relevant experience. • Client-facing capability — clear and credible communicator with advisors, clients, and external partners, with the ability to grow into senior-level settings. • Exceptional organizational skills — manages multiple concurrent workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders without losing detail. • Cross-functional collaboration — gets outcomes through operations, trading, technology, legal, and sales without direct authority. • Ownership mentality — picks up projects and unresolved needs and runs with them to completion with limited oversight.
