Work Week : Monday - Friday & Saturday as needed Shift description : 6am - 4pm Pay rage : $1.65 above base production Job Responsibilities
• Perform routine checks that include, but not limited to, monitoring of production lines, sanitation standards, HACCP checks, label auditing, weight checks. This also includes completion and review of documentation. • Assure proper execution of the Jennie-O Turkey Store HACCP, TQC, NTIS programs as well as company policies and procedures. • Provide technical support and training to the plant in areas of USDA regulation compliance, process control program problem analysis investigation, product performance reporting, GMP's and food safety principles. • Perform Poultry Inspection Sorter duties. • Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications
• Must be able to learn to complete basic audits including HACCP monitoring and verification, SSAP preoperative and operative sanitation monitoring, weight control checks, on-line quality audits. • Must be able to work independently and with others with minimal supervision. • Must be able to work for extended periods of time in a cool environment. • Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. • Good attendance is essential; the applicant's prior attendance record will be considered. • Must be willing to work towards becoming knowledgeable in product specifications, GMP policies, SSAP procedures and HACCP programs. • Must be able to maintain accurate and legible documentation of all assigned responsibilities. • Must be able to speak, read and write in English and be able to communicate with management. • Must possess basic math skills. • Able to stand on a stand • Be able to pass certification to be NPIS Sorter • Able to use a knife • Must be willing to learn Poultry Inspection Sorter duties. • Preferred Qualifications • • * High School Diploma or equivalent * Knowledge of USDA inspection criteria
* Basic Computer Skills * Detail oriented
* Previous evisceration experience * Excellent attendance record
